4. But if these primaries are NOT winner take-all, incremental gains for Obama mean MORE DELEGATES
And the delegate race is crucial. It's as important to win by 10% more, maybe moreso, than in a squeaker like NM which comes out #1.

For this reason, it seems to me that although HRC could achieve an effective stalemate, unless she wins BIG in WI, PA, OH, TX AND IN (which I think unlikely to happen in all those), she isn't going to gain the lead in delegates, especially in PLEDGED delegates. Of course, the system is complicated and impossible to predict.

(I am gathering that Obama will also continue to win many of the small caucus states like Wyoming, Montana, S Dakota, as well as N Carolina and MS, based on past performance. But those big five (possibly also Oregon) seem to be Hillary Clinton's best bet. Even holding her to fairly narrow victories in those she wins would prevent her from gaining anything LIKE a commanding lead.

Really, I think it will become increasingly clear that the Democratic Party faces either stalemate/"arrangement"/and/or brokered convention OR an Obama victory for the nomination. Voting for the latter over the former, though a complex issue, is VERY crucial for the Democratic Party and for the country
