Would you please sign this Martha Stewart petition?
I think this is a terrible injustice what is being done to Martha.Kenny Lay and the boys ripped off thousands of people....they lost their jobs and life savings. Bu$h has told HUNDREDS of lies and cost thousands of people their lives and caused thousands more left maimed....some with lost limbs, eyes and some left severely burned. Because they are white male REPUKES,they get by with it. If anyone on God's green earth deserves to be in prison,it's Kenny boy,bu$h and his gang of thugs. Free Martha.

1. It sucks that Bush's friends are not in jail
and that MS has been indicted on four counts.

I love Martha Stewart.

However, I don't know if she is guilty or not; didn't follow the trial at all, and don't have even a basic knowledge of SEC rules and regulations-

Just because Kenny Boy has been napping in the Lincoln bedroom does not mean Martha Stewart is innocent.

That's why I won't sign the petitions...even though I can admit the whole thing sucks.

3. Martha only hurt herself, more or less
Ken Lay et.al ruined thousands of lives.

5. To a point you are right
However, she did indeed end up hurting other people when her alleged actions caused her stocks to drop, correct?

I despise Ken Lay..and his ilk; but that does NOT make MS innocent of the charges.

Sorry...comparing KL to Stewart is just an emotional, knee jerk reaction. The two cases have nothing to do with each other.

That said, I agree with the emotional reaction you are having...but, I won't sign a petition based on that.

4. Yeah I agree
while the whole thing was a witch hunt and she is a friend of the Democratic party, and the Corporate scandals involving Enron, Tyco, WorldCom are much worse and haven't even come close to being dealt with, I would be a hypocrit if I supported one corporate criminal over another. She is guilty just as they are and instead of choosing one over another, I think it's best to just go get them all.

Any corporate criminal regardless of where they are idealogically, is a bad person.

7. Not a Marth fan
as I'm not very domestic but I think she's been used as a distraction and to give a false impression that they are cleaning up the corporate world. I signed.

9. Screw that Martha is an insider trader
She deserves to be locked up. Just because she is one of the only ones doing this that are being prosecuted doesn't make her any less worthy of prosecution.

Fry Martha!

10. You Realise That Skilling & Others Are Under Indictment
and that Stewart was found guilty by a jury?

11. No way. Just because Lay isn't in jail, doesn't mean arrogant
self-serving criminals should get my support. Besides, her recipes are invariably mediocre.
