Plain Dealer endorses Obama, McCain (Cleveland)
February 09, 2008 18:00PM

The Plain Dealer has made its choices in the presidential primaries: Sen. John McCain of Arizona and Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.

The paper says Obama has "an optimistic approach unencumbered by the past," and it calls McCain "a plain-spoken pragmatist who can build coalitions."

8. couldn't agree more....
kinda makes you wonder what these two families have been covering up for each other all these years? They are way to chummy for my taste. We may find out some very interesting things come 2009.

4. Right wing paper disliked by Dems
This will actually hurt Obama in this part of the state. Given the Pee Dee's virulent dislike for Dems (they went after Bill Clinton, Gore and Kerry with a vengeance), its more proof the GOP wants Obama to win.

Don't Obama supporters find it unsettling that so many Republicans want him to win?

There's already another thread on this.

7. They're salivating over Hillary...
Dick Morris's book on her is all ready to go. Sure to be a best selling hit piece. If Obama is the nominee it'll screw up everything.
