Here is how I would handle multiple post from a single user in a day
You get up to three posts in GD-Primaries. Any additional posts go to GD-Politics II automatically.

You would get to decide on which posts go to GD-Primaries, but once you hit the threshold you can only post on the other board. People can hang out in either room.

My suspicion however is that GD-Primaries would become a much more fun place and there is no effective limit on the amount of original posts.

Thoughts.

9. It would be automatic. not hard to do.
No harder than limiting the number of posts.

3. hmmm
Sounds reasonable unless something evolved as news, but overall could be good. The only thing is would that be condensed? would you move it and let the person know where it is going?

12. It is no more difficult than blocking OPs after quantity X.
It really is just one line of code.

6. Unlikely, GD Primaries II would basically become the new GD Primaries.
Since most people have to defend flame bait and things of that nature, which tend to be posted by the most ardent posters.

8. And ALL of the posts would still be eligible to make it to the Greatest.
By limiting the number of GDP posts, less flame-wars will make it to the Latest, and Greatest.

An extra forum wouldn't help.

14. No, I think just limiting it to three is best
No need for a new forum.
