Call me psychic...
From WaPo:

"On only one major issue is Bush preferred to Kerry: the war on terrorism, where the president has a 21-point advantage."

Prediction:
This lead will be cut to a single digit (minimally) once the 9/11 commission report comes out.

1. The numbers would be reversed with Clark as VP.

2. so what you're saying is that if Kerry announces Clark as VP,
..then HE commands a 21 point lead on issues of terrorism, over the incumbant President--only to have that lead dwindle down to 1 point by the time the Clark-cheney debates have occurred? I would have to agree. And I think it would be a mistake to for Senator Kerry to pick someone who has never held publically elected office as his running mate.

P.S. I'm afraid you're only "psychic" if your name is Terri Mc., and you already "know" how this whole process was going to, and is going to pan out between Jan.2000 & July 15, 2004. I'm afraid it's all in "his hands"!

3. I think you understood my point...
Are you saying that Clark on the ticket wouldn't SUBSTANTIALLY dispel any lingering doubts about Kerry's commitment/ability re the "war" on terror???? If that is what you are getting at, THAT'S funny!

5. Was Clark asked to resign by Clinton?
Im not trying to bash Clark, and I am obviously new to this, but I have heard repeatedly that Clark resigned over character issues and something about trying to use Apache attack helicopters in Bosnia. Please do not flame my ignorance.

7. No...
He was removed from his position by some other guys w/o Clinton's say so while Clinton was out of the country. It was all pretty ugly I guess.
