Is there an endorsement, celebrity or otherwise, who would change your vote?
Just curious if there's someone out there who's opinion you so value, you'd do an about face? Or, at a minimum, seriously reconsider?

4. not a snowball's chance in hell
I'm going to vote for who I want, who I choose, and no one, not family, not friends, not endorsers, will affect that.

And so should everyone else.

5. WTF?
Why would an endorsement make any difference
whatsoever in the status of a candidate?

It's her/his record and independence from corporations
and lobbysits that matter.

10. No
I already voted in my primary and I will vote for the DEM nominee in Nov. so, no, no endorsement will change my mind. It didn't for the primary.

11. Gore might make me think hard about it
But I don't think he'll endorse. And if he did, I think he'd endorse Obama, not Clinton. The Clinton/Gore years did not end in sweetness and light.

13. If there was someone out there who knew what they were
talking about like the late Molly Ivins I might value their opinion, but otherwise no. I make up my own mind until it's made up for me by the press and the party and I go to the polls, hold my nose and vote for the lesser of, or the Democratic candidate if in the general election. It's always worked that way for me.

14. So if Britney Spears endorsed a candidate, her fans would go vote for the same?
If THAT example doesn't prove how shallow and petty such people are, to vote because some celebrity says "Vote for that one" while pointing in the relevant direction...

I would listen to people who have values I share, but that is hardly the determining factor when voting.

20. Possibly Howard Dean
but of course he can't endorse anyone. But I would be shocked if he was not privately pulling for Obama, who has inherited a lot of the grassroots organization he built four years ago, and running against the Clinton machine that worked behind the scenes to knock him down.

21. John Kerry's endorsement finalized my decision to support Obama.
Had Kerry endorsed Clinton, I would have taken a LONG step back and analyzed "why" and then I probably would be supporting Clinton now.

But Clinton is who she is and Kerry endorsed Obama, so there was no need for that bit of shock therapy. :)

supported a certain candidate then I would think twice about that person.

35. Naomi Klein would be an influential endorsement.
There are others, like Bill Moyers. Some have already endorsed candidates.

None would carry decisive weight.

However, I already voted (in the Primary), so it is all (D) for the rest of the year.

are you the "Robb" of DU "dingbat" fame?

If you are, you're a celeb, and so I may have to consider your endorsement. :-)
