that sprang out of the 60's and 70's.

Beyond electing some politician who makes campaign promises based on single word slogans.

You know, the *Civil Rights* Movement, the *Womens Rights* Movment.

Not the Candidate X Movement.

Anyway, I thought Obama disliked the "excesses of the 60's", lol.

Bush is leaving office.

Someone new will be there.

10. We usually reserved the word "movement" then to describe
wide scale sweeping and ongoing work to reverse an entrenched and specific set of social wrong, not to differentiate support for one political candidate over another with similar platforms in an election campaign.
