A Great Video about Obama's Healthcare Plan
Click Here, then click on the video (5 minutes long)

This guy does an AWESOME job of describing why he likes Obama's healthcare plan better then Hillary's. And they say that us "young folk" don't know what we're talking about.. and Obama doesn't actually have any policies - he just floats around on his big ego.

I disagree.

The reporter keeps posing followup questions and the guy being interviewed has clear answers to all of them.

3. Yup.. he absolutely knows the plan and why it's a benifit...
I also liked his discussion on the long term problem of needing bipartisian support to get it passed. This guy gets an A++

4. He mentioned the "voluntary" aspect. It worked well for him.
He neglected to think about the ramifications of that aspect, and how it allows the market to game our premiums and keep costs from ever being actually low.

5. He also discussed the benifit.. that it has a shot in hell of actually passing.
Hillary's will not come close to winning enough bi-partisian support in the house & senate to pass. No republican will touch it. Think about Bush's Privitization of Social Security.. no dem would touch it, and it is dead.

If you don't bend to meet in the middle (as much as we hate to do that) you're chance of success is 0%. I don't want a plan that sounds good in a debate or a stump speech.. i want one that may actually happen.

But, honestly this thread wasn't as much about debating their plans (we have about 30 other threads going for that).. it was about a young guy being asked a lot of tough questions about Obama's plan, and how good he was at answering them.

6. We'll have a majority in the Senate and Congress, they'll both pass handily.

8. First one to give 'specifics' might get my vote!
So far this is all generalities. We need to know what is the amount for paying these premiums. Who is writing these plans? Probably the 'experts from the medical and insurance rackets. Will I still lose my home if I can't pay the bills? Why isn't the Canadian or European style considered? Why is it that no other civilized countries are clamoring for the way we have health care? Hmmm.

9. Has Hillary discussed any of those specifics yet either?
Serious question.. not a barb. I don't think either candidate will be able to have specifics until they sit down with the healtchare & pharmaceutical companies, along with insurance companies to get some agreements on the table (and on C-Span for the public to watch as well).
