I'm now supporting Obama
I have had my doubts about both candidates.

I encourage both of them to attempt to stretch and to offer clearer positions.

But what tips my opinion to Obama is this basic factor:

We need a candidate who enspires enthusiasm and genuine passion if we are to win.

We need a candidate who has charisma and can speak with eloquence.

And we need a candidate who was against the war first.

Obama, even with his flaws, can make this campaign a people's crusade to victory.

HRC, who I will support in the fall, can't inspire passion and enthusiasm among anybody.

She is "competent". She can run a meeting. But that isn't all that matters.

What matters is inspiring the nation.

Of the two, only Barack Obama can inspire anyone.

Do what's right. Vote for an electrifying candidate who can bring the party and the country to life.

Only Barack Obama can be that candidate.

6. welcome to the fold.
the 'cult'.
I was always original Kooch, but when push comes to shove, and all got shoved out - reluctantly I chose Obama.
I am not reluctant now.
I love what he is doing to the electricity of participation. I am still not certain about him, but I am certainly certain I like what he does to make people feel part of it all.

Your words say it so well.

He is the person that best serves us at this time.

19. How is Obama going to achieve his change?
Could someoneou answer a question I have about Senator Obama's Candidacy that touts him as the new John and Bobby Kennedy?

I do not understand why the MSM has never asked Senator Obama how is going to achieve the New Politics, the New Wave, the New Paradigm or whatever he calls it -- he wants it to compare to the success of Reaganism.

He wants to bring all the American people who are Republicans, Democrats and Independents
together to fight against K-Street and the political power it represents and thus in doing this America will be transformed and so will the government.

It is my understanding that in 2006 most of the moderate Republicans were defeated and what is left in Congress are Right-wing Republicans and Libertarians who come from safe districts that will never believe in this new movement. I do not think even the 2010 census will help that much in changing Washington DC.

Unless Senator Obama starts a movement that will end in a Coup d'état or a Constitutional Convention, I don't see his movement going anywhere.

Every pundit, columnist has expressed admiration for this man who is bringing together all segments of America for the change. He is so popular and speaks to overflowing crowds and is getting so much cash from the Internet. However, I just do not understand how his movement is achievable.

21. See, that's the sad part of your question......
When Obama says that we are who we have been waiting for, that is meant literally.

We are going to achieve the change by representing a super majority. That's what his unity message is all about. In numbers comes great political strength in a democracy. Those who have been voting against their best self interest will soon come to understand because that is Obama's part in all of this; talking to them in a manner that even they will be able to understand.

This will make it even more clear-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWjR-N0QZ14

It's just that it's from the wrong people, ie Republicans who passionately hate her, and would even vote for McCain to stop her.
