2. It would be the smartest and strategic move they could make.
They would be unbeatable.

3. I'd be slightly disappointed that we didn't get the brass ring
But kicking McCain's ass in November would take away the sting!

4. Well, it would be a mixture of
disappointment that Barack Obama's political career as a potentially-transformational figure (such as Reagan or FDR) was effectively ended, mixed with happiness that the party would not be completely fractured. So, er, "pleased."

5. I'd be angry if Obama accepts the VP
Look what they did to Gore. Gore got shut out by Hillary. Obama would be shut out by Bill. He basically won't have that much to do. It would work in his favor not to accept that role.

7. If Obama acepts the second spot I would expect
a non-public but formal agreement on his role in the administration. It would insure he got to maintain a good high profile position and keep him out of Bill's shadow. In return next time he would get 100% all out support from the Clintons, the DNC and the party establishment for his run.

Hillary is my age (60) and too old for such a deal to work well for her. For her its now or never.

Obama might accept #2 if the package is attractive enough and gives him a high probability of being the next president.

6. I'd be okay with it
I still think it's unlikely if it's Obama with the nomination, because I don't think she gains from it and I think she'd view it as a step down.

For Obama, I think he'd be concerned that he'd always be number 3: Hilary, Bill then Barack

8. If Obama accepts the VP, he's sold out to the DLC... I'll be mad....

If Hillary accepts, I'll be mad at Obama for offering it to her.
