2. Before 9/11
His credibility was ZERO!

America was starting to see him as a bad, bad joke.......then someone handed him a friggin bullhorn at ground zero.

3. We'll Never Know For Sure...
...but I'm sure that with no 9/11, there would have been MASSIVE pressure on him to announce in 2003 that he would not seek re-selection. This pressure would have come from fellow rethuglicans.
IMHO

4. Bush has politicized that tragedy since day one. How can any-
one in this country think he is a strong wartime pres...because he starts so many of them?

5. Bush would be impeached by now. The senate would be
Democratic and the probably the house.

6. Ah, I betcha that's a freeper
1 person thinks Bush would be doing much BETTER than he ACTUALLY IS DOING NOW, WITHOUT 9/11.

I guess they figure that the economy would be better if it weren't for the 'Clinton Recession' that began in Bush's term being combined with the effects of 9/11.

7. Actually...
Wouldn't he? He may have more moderates going for him, seeing as without 9/11 he may not have been able to do Iraq, and wouldn't have the anger about the commission, the LIHOP theory, the families.

I voted that he'd be losing in Rethug primaries.

8. Headline in non-9/11 world
Bush, McCain continue bitter primary battle as Gore begins running mate search; Kerry, Edwards said to be frontrunners for VP slot :-)

9. I voted Bush 55
because I don't think that many of his horrid policies would have passed. Thus the economy would likely be better.
