8. I heard a clip of a Huckabee speech in which he said
"They say this is a two man race, and they're right. And we're in it! "

I thought that was a bit optimistic, but now...

It'll be interesting to see what happens - I think a lot of the more conservative Repubs were looking toward Romney, but even they might find Huckabee worrisome.

12. Helps Obama significantly. Indie voters can now vote for Barack, and it clarifies the race.
Who can best beat McCain? It's been obvious for a while. Hillary has shown little strength outside of the Kerry states (except Arkansas). Obama will still win in November the large blue states that have been Hillary's strength.

The imagery of Obama vs. McCain, the future vs. the past, couldn't be more clear.

For those who still don't get it, Nick Kristof explained it in today's NY Times.
