Nobody Should be Declaring Victory Yet.
The Delegates are not fully counted. As someone realized, the delegates have not been totaled yet (perhaps by each side they have). If you look at each state on CNN's site, there are plenty of states from last night that don't show full delegate counts. For example, Alabama has 52 delegates tied to yesterday's election, but only 41 have been allocated to a candidate.

Let's everybody calm down and wait to declare victory.

At best each side can declare a tie, which is an amazing accomplishment for one camp and what the other camp needed to maintain at a minimum.

3. I Think He Is Being Slightly Premature
And when the dust settles, if this proves true, he ought to be censured for it.

4. Well, it was a sort of victory, given that he was double digits behind in national polls just a
couple of weeks ago and that Clinton expected to sew it up last night. Both camps are spinning this to favor their campaigns. I hardly think its fair to single out Obama like that, Maddezmom.

2. Indeed, neither of the candidates are declaring victory
they are both declaring that they are still in the race.
