Something screwy is going on in California...
I keep reading 55% for Clinton and 32% for Obama. TOTAL: 87%

Are John Edwards and the other Dem candidates taking in 13% of the vote? Because, I've got to tell you, in every other state tonight the totals add up to at least 97%.

:wtf: is going on?

If these percentages are correct, then it looks like a significant protest vote to me.

12. They haven't announced his numbers much.
Once he bowed out, the networks haven't announced his numbers.

But if you'll search his name in this forum, you'll see that he's actually done shockingly well, to not even be in the race.

to the total, but haven't counted them yet? I've never seen that anywhere.

20. I'm hoping it goes all the way to 15%
that way he will get some delegates.

That said, the map looks almost all for clinton right now. It is early... and remember until the big counties start reporting votes... not just absentee, things look weird

By the way, as of 21:00 Gravel is all the way to 0.2%

:-)

10. And many voters were still going to vote for Edwards here
so it's not as if the Edwards early votes are being completely diluted by today's returns which might possibly be running 5% for him.

14. From the numbers I've seen so far...
Edwards is garnering about 15 percent of the votes, so far.

This early votes, are probably absentee votes, that were cast when Edwards
will still in it.

Edwards' vote totals tonight are always highest at the beginning of reporting than at the end. The early votes get counted first. Edwards got 4% in the exit poll.

IMHO this is talking heads jumping on the first numbers they see without any analysis. As of this writing (9:15 PST), polls in Alameda County are still open and will be until everyone is finished.

And I'm a white pollster. That's what's up.

There's a minimum of a positive 5.23% skew against Obama,
and this is only possible in Hollywood.

Check the numbers as you will--this is a bunch of shit!
