O'Reilly: Double standard holder definitely, Racist Maybe
Today I read an article in the Houston Press that showed that O'Reilly seems to have a double standard when it comes to profanity/ludness and sponsorship. According to the article O'Reilly urged his viewers to boycott Pepsi when he found out that rapper Ludacris had been tapped as a sponsor of the drink. The next day Pepsi canceled the ad. Later they picked Ozzy Osbourne to promote their drink and O'Reilly was silent. On another occasion rapper Snoop Dogg was supposed to make an appearence on A Very Muppet Christmas but once again O'Reilly steped in and put a stop to it. Later Alice Copper was picked to appear on a Muppet show this time O'Reilly was silent. In 1999 O'Reilly even heaped praise on Alice Copper, Saying "I always thought the guy could-wrote pretty good songs". About one month ago O'Reilly raised another stink when rapper lil' Kim was picked to endorse Old Navy. It might be that O'Reilly just targeted these artists because they were rappers. The paper did mention that O'Reilly seems to hate all rappers even the white ones, but the artist he protested all seem to have one thing in common: race.

1. Cooper is a staunch Republican.
That may have had something to do with it. Ozzy also appeared at some fundraiser for pResident Bush awhile ago.

2. Racist, probably.
Has he started a boycott of Coors for having Kid Rock shill their beer?

because of Ludachris. Chris gave a profanity-laced response in a concert response.

Do your duty as liberals: Drink a Bud tonight. And somke one too.
