I agree w/ Kucinich's statement - which begs the question
When he had the opportunity in Iowa an subsequently to throw his support to a fighter like John Edwards did he choose to support the "unity" candidate?

1. No...He chose to
Not support Edwards because of Edwards' connection with the Fortress Investment Hedge Fund.

What statement from Kucinich?

5. The rumor is
the guy inside the campaign was fired for throwing the support behind Obama.

8. I was referring to him sitting on that tacky couch
on the home page. He's defiitely right about impeachment, about standing up and having a spine and fighting for what is right. Pelosi is interested in unity instead of fighting. And Obama would rather give us empty platitudes. Hey, It's morning in America! :sarcasm:

2. I imagine Dennis was thinking that his biggest support base was from peaceniks
Edited on Mon Feb-04-08 07:00 PM by lvx35
Which is not the only reason why people liked him, but he thought so, so he threw his endorsement behind the one who seemed most anti-war.

edit: see post #4 for interesting alternative.

7. Kucinich threw his 1% behind a co-sponsor of the war in 2004
Kucinich does what is best for Kucinich. Only in the blogosphere is he viewed as a perfect angel.

9. Kucinich
Was working within the rigged system that was Iowa, which he didn't campaign in at all. He told his supporters to support Obama because he had basically forsaken them the entire election up to that point by putting little effort into winning Iowa. And why was that? Well, because the DNC and other corporate interest or special interest groups like AARP kept him out so that he could not get any traction because he was talking about solutions they do not favor like single-payer not-for-profit health care.
