4. I don't think they believe ANY of what they're posting
they just want to attack.

They know they're being dishonest - they're not outraged by this. They just want to hurt one of our candidates.

7. What if any other candidate cried. At multiple events. How would he be perceived?
Hillary is in the same field and is subject to the same things as any other candidate. Her gender is not a handicap nor a tool for special preference.

Crying has ALWAYS been a sign of weakness; ironically males who are seen crying aren't treated much better either.

And this is politics; since when has it been clean -- or at what point tdoes the public think enough is enough and demand politicians clean up their acts and re-evolve?

Did Pelosi ever cry while running?

Did Bill Clinton, Jimmy carter, John F Kennedy?

26. Bill Clinton cried all the time! Don't you remember? I do.
When men cry they're being sensitive and human and real.

When Hillary has a coughing fit, well ........

9. My GOD I cannot emphasize...
just how much the experience of trying to work and:

a) Not have my thoughts taken seriously

b) Not have the next man try to "give me opportunities" only to find that they want to sleep with me

c) Immediately assume that I don't have the brain power to match my bust size

d) Have every little mistake become something much, much more while my male colleagues slide by

e) Assume that my moving from NYC to Colorado meant that I was going to start popping out children

I have dealt with every single one of these fucking things in the working world and elsewhere.

2. What? Bill cried? When?
Or is this about the moment when Hillary choked up? Because I think that there is a rather large difference between choking up (which many politicians do) and crying.

15. I know you don't need any kind of detailed explanation...
but push polls are all rather disingenuous, wouldn't you agree?

20. What information did I "push" on the takers of this poll?
I asked a question with two options, that I didn't characterize. I could've said "the fake outrage by people pretending to be upset", but I didn't.

You just wanted to insult me, for some reason, and you can't even explain what you meant. There was nothing disingenuous about my poll, nothing in it remotely resembled a push-poll, and you're just acting dickish.

23. You characterize them as "disingenuous" right in the title!
And, given that you have a Clinton avatar, you don't think that might slightly taint the view of your poll, would it?

No, I don't want to insult you. I don't care one whit either way, frankly. But this whole charade that you're not conducting a push poll is absurd, at best.

27. and you haven't yet
explained how it's a push poll.

If you think the people complaining about the crying are honest and sincere, vote for for the first option!

Geez! Some people...

#4. Clinton Supporters milking this for all it's worth to try and paint Obama supporters as the only "meanines".
#5. Clinton Supporters who claim they weren't sure who they'd vote for but are now so outraged about whatever they can't vote for Obama.

8. Well, they're better than us and it matters naught -- to not vote for her makes us sexist.
Edited on Mon Feb-04-08 02:51 PM by HypnoToad
No excuses.

(Gee, does that not make THEM sexist, for putting gender above their views for America - which I thought was the reason for voting for a candidate in the first place?)
