Having lived my entire long life in red areas, most of my neighbors and friends ARE republicans.

That doesn't mean that I'd vote for them, or take their recommendations on whom to vote for.

I also lived in CA for more than 3 decades, and was there for the recall of Davis and the election that installed Arnold. I lived through his first term as governor, and anyone who would support him doesn't have any credibility with me.

Regardless of what party they hail from.
