Lakers coach Phil Jackson said before Sunday's game. "We'll practice tomorrow and see how he feels." ... Jackson talked about donating money to Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign and mentioned that he "put a plug out for Obama" on his Los Angeles TV show.

I am a Utah Jazz fan, so I hate anything associated with the 1990s Chicago Bulls, including Jordan and Jackson. The Jazz and Lakers are also bitter, bitter rivals, so since he's associated with them, I hate him even more. But now that he's backing Obama, I can at least kinda, somewhat, possibly, half like him...perhaps. :D

3. I absolutely adore Robert Duvall

as one of the finest character actors Hollywood has ever produced. His characters are always completely believable, his talent enormous.

However, he is a right wing nut whose politics I despise.

I don't hire him (rent or buy his films) for his politics. I hire him for his great talent as a modern storyteller.

I suggest you approach hiring people the same way.

6. Knicks fan here...we used to have a team, and Phil Jackson was an ass

about beating us. Worked those refs too much for my tastes.

However, being on the older side, I actually remember him as a player for the Knicks, and, boy, did we love him back then. Scrappy, intelligent, team-oriented...perfect role player.

Kareem supports Obama, too. Even shows up in the "Yes We Can" song...good stuff, as we head into Tuesday in Califonia.
