8. hit Obama (again) on question about speaking to hostile foreign leaders
same answer as in the debate. forceful though.
Going over the drivers licenses for undocumented immigrants. Same answer, very clear and forceful in her response . . .
Answered question about McCain, stressed her ability to both pull back from Bush's madness and present a posture of a nation ready to defend itself. (I hate those kinds of appeals)
6. George asked her THREE TIMES to answer the question on individual mandates on her healthcare plan
She DID NOT answer the question.
I thought she did badly. She opened up a can of worms with her assessment about meeting world leaders. I'll have something soon skewering her assertions in this tragic interview.
I know I'm biased but there have many times when I honestly thought she did a great job on the chat shows. This hasn't been one of them. She was weasel-y about the healthcare question and her attacks on Obama appeared desperate.
16. Hillary was for the undocumented worker license issue bfore she was against it
She was on record agreeing (rightfully) that undocumented workers need to have a form of driving license, much like an occupational license. After her horrible debate appearance in Philadelphia regarding that issue where she actually wanted it both ways on the issue, two weeks later she said she was against it.
It shows just how far she would pander based on focus groups.
What she said on today's show was nothing more than maintaining the latest view she has on the issue.
17. well the governor, who she said she tended to support in that
backed off of his own stance. As she pointed out in the debate, even Obama has had trouble with his own presentations. Flip-flopping isn't an issue Obama would be advantaged in highlighting.
