McCain is campaigning only on war and patriotism and terra. I saw a clip on CNN

where he was sputtering to a crowd in Alabama about how he would follow Osama Bin Laden to the gates of hell, and how the Democrats were waving the white flag, how he would increase the war budget and military, tired old war talk... Then I saw another where Obama was speaking before a huge crowd in Minneapolis (17,000?) --talking about issues here in the US, jobs, health care. I'm sure Mrs Clinton is drawing huge crowds too. So different from the very tired, old republican line.

2. McCain's speeches are aimed at the older, military oriented, blue haired, flag waving,

'murcans. Don't get me wrong, I have respect for those people, but its tired rhetoric and it's a different world that we live in now. The enthusiasm for our candidates is uplifting. I'm encouraged, but still think we need to work like hell to get that young vote out there.
