Rasmussen daily graph for 2/2/08 - Clinton up 2 (45), Obama unchanged (37)
Everything has changed! Again!

(These graphs are all contained on one Web page at http://www.dvorkin.com/rastrack.html)

(Pretend that the 10 and 20 lines are actually 0. Does anyone know how to make Excel label different parts of the axis differently?)

2. Seems like Obama's slowed and Hillary's starting to accelerate again

Tennesee, Alabama, Missouri all showing leads today for her and this national one also. The debate i think has had an effect for her.

5. It's 43 - 37. Rasmussen made a typo.
"The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Barack Obama inching closer to Hillary Clinton in the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. It’s now Clinton 43%, Obama 37%. A week ago, Clinton had an eleven point advantage, 41% to 30%."

Actually, it looks like Obama is gaining steadily. He's closed an 11 point spread down to a six point spread.

14. They just changed it.
I guess what would be more meaningful would be a poll of super Tuesday states, since there is this domino effect. Also, 45+37=82. There are 18% missing, either undecideds or Edwards' supporters who refuse to switch. :)

6. I don't trust Rasmussen polling, but it's good to read something positive.
I might be wrong about Rasmussen, but I've always had a hinky feeling about their polls.

7. She's got the big mo right now
The overwhelming victory in Forida and her win in the last debate has her on the fast track to reel in big gains on Super Tuesday.
When you factor in the other "big delegate staes" after Super Tuesday, she has a comfortable lead, and should cruise to victory in Colorado.

16. There've been bigger changes in the past
Both up and down, for both candidates (and all three, when Edwards was still in). I think it's unwise to read too much into it.

19. I do too!
The trend still favors Obama, since this is only one day. If the trend continues, Obama will gain a bit more.
