Obama is winning the youth vote. Wouldn't the polls be skewed due to cell phones?
They younger folks who work with my husband all rely on cell phones w/o land lines. I believe this to be true nationwide. Couldn't this be a big factor in why the polls have been so far off? Just wondering.

2. Yes. Cell phones don't get the polls, and MANY people don't have land lines.
Most of the people I know under 30 don't have landlines at all.

3. Nice thought
I know they adjust their polls for the demographic of the state polled. The polls haven't necessarily not favored Obama, have they - NH for instance?

6. A pollster on NPR said it's not a problem.
He said that the majority of cell-only people are under 30 and that their political views have been found to track well with "landline" young people, so it doesn't drastically affect the results to use landline only.

Sounds sensible, but is it true?

7. There is a reason Hillary is spending a ton of time in California
a State she is suppose to have a significant lead in.

10. I often forget to charge my cell phone and since I have kids, I would never think
of going w/o a landline, but there is a whole slew of under 30's who do.

Your family account for six, I wonder how many more out there aren't being polled.
