I had a feeling the last debate before 2/5 would bring in a lot of people, but that's a great number. I almost can't believe that many of my fellow americans actually cared enough to watch it.
11. Well it was hyped as THE MOST HISTORIC DEBATE EVER! Complete with a countdown clock.
You know, it wasn't "historic" until Edwards dropped out. The first viable female and black candidates had never debated until yesterday. Apparently Edwards' whiteness was so dark and sinister that it was overshadowing "history".
Where was all the fanfare with Condi and Colin Powell? The Bush Administration was one of the most diverse in history:
Rice Powell Gonzalez
Having women and people of color in office sure changed everything! Maybe in 2012 we can have a historic gay president with Milton Friedman's social conscience. Better than someone like Edwards or Kucinich. A DK candidacy is nothing more than the Man keeping us down. :sarcasm:
Their circuses are so good they're betting that we don't even care about the bread anymore.
It is the first time in history that a woman or a black person has a legitimate chance at winning the Presidency of the US. I'm sorry that your candidate was not there.
