7. He was neither a neo con or a reaganite. He wanted to govern the old repub. way
and found out how much it cost to buck his own system.

i think senator clinton has been very strong tonight (very sober and frank), and that line was pure red meat for the crowd. I sort of cringed though because for all Bush Sr's flaws, has stayed above the fray for the last 15 years, despite being an ex president, a partisan, and the father of the current (insert four letter word of choice).

6. That was the best line of the night!!!
She kicked ass with that comment. What a great answer to all of the rhetoric surround what some like to call a "dynasty". That will make a great bumper sticker if she gets the nomination!!

9. Except the first Clinton didn't really "clean up" after the first bush
He just sort of swept the whole filthy mess under the rug. Stopped the Iran Contra investigations and years later became the BFF of the asshole that started it all.

12. I think most people embrace the economic policies that assisted them in the 90's
after being left in the lurch for 12 years of the repub's.

13. True
If he'd actually "cleaned up" the 2nd Bush wouldn't have been allowed into the White House as part of tour.

Vice President - Bush 1980-88; President Bush '88-'92; President Clinton '92-'00; President Bush Jr. '00-'08 ---> President Clinton (Hillary)'08? That sure looks like either a Bush or Clinton are the only choices for Pres. or are going to be close by, ala Bush Sr. as VP.

21. your years are off
the ELECTIONS are in the even, but the years of service are in the odd. get it right. because when you say Bill Clinton was actual president in 1992, u accuse him of sending troops to somalia, when Bush Sr. did that in 92, after the election, and this accusation hurts the party. it was VP Bush 1981-1989, Pres Bush 1989-1993, Clinton 1993-1001, Bush II 2001-2009, Clinton II 2009-2017

22. Exactly - and amazing that some just don't GET why we take the 'cleaning'
done for the Bushes throughout the 90s as an INSULT to honest and open government.
