Perfect.

Edited: Obama said that in his response to the question about Iraq, and why Clinton won't set a date for withdrawl, while he has set a very specific 16 months.

4. That's the key to this election
CHANGE. That's why Obama is the one to go against McCain, we need a huge CHANGE in our global mentality and Hillary will continue the name exploitation of oil and resources that put us into these wars.

5. Agreed...
This is the biggest difference between Clinton & Obama - and Obama was on the correct side of this.

15. Bottom line... like Kerry, Hillary is vulnerable on the Iraq issue ...
... and will face the "she voted for the war, before she supported surrender" ads.

Obama offers a distinctive difference from the Republican candidates on the Iraq issue.

16. She supported the damn war
It will be worse than Kerry because she supported the actual war, verbally, almost through 2005. She wanted to change the way it was being executed, she didn't support getting out. She didn't change on anything until the polls changed. She would be a disaster in the GE.

17. I agree.. she should have taken the option..
and just admitted that she made a mistake by voting for it. That would have gotten her a better feedback on that topic IMO

18. True. She stuck with her bad vote for a looong time (and I'm not sure ...
... she's ever really admitted the mistake, or regrets for her mistake).

And, in my view, her recent vote on the Kyl/Lieberman Iran RG amendment shows me that the leopard's still got her spots.

9. Right.. so the people who oppose that statement are who?
Perhaps 40% are Repugs who like McCain? I think even Hillary supporters agree we need to get out of Iraq, and get rid of the mentality that supported getting us there.. bomb first, ask questions later.

11. You mean platitudes like...
"it takes a Clinton to clean up after a Bush"????

THAT kind of platitude?

12. Then the "It will take another Clinton to clean up after another Bush"
would also be a meaningless slogan as well, right? Not saying you're a Clinton supporter - just pointing out that a lot of people are looking for a sound bite or two here.
