Al Gore for V.P.?
Just a random thought.

Would he be seriously considered?

What do you think he could bring to the table?

Would Gore agree if asked?

Would he be a liability?

What are your thoughts?

1. Gore is a pariah after he endorsed Dean
Nobody will touch him with a 10 foot poll.

9. You know that old saw about the best avoiding politics?
The one where they avoid politics because of all the attacks and smears they will get from the other side?
I imagine Al Gore probably feels that way when he gets attacks from Democrats who presumedly/supposedly are on the same side he is ultimately.

3. I doubt it because he would bring nothing with him
except baggage, he couldn't even carry his own state of TN in the 2000 election. Any generic dem could have done the same thing.

4. The Media Would Just Get Out Their Playbook from 2000 and Trash Him
I really like Al Gore and his family. He would have been an awesome president, but the media doesn't like him so it won't happen.

6. NOOOOOOOooooo!!
What did he do for Dean? I felt so alienated by his statement that the entire Democratic Party should unite behind Dean before even one vote had been cast. I felt that he had no interest in allowing the system to work.

ALSO, the more I learn about what happened in the 2000 election, the angrier I get with Gore for not fighting DOGGEDLY for our rights in that election. I don't think he should have walked away without fighting tooth and nail for every vote to be counted.
