Well, looks like I'm not going to vote in the primaries
I don't have a dog in the race and I really don't give a shit for Obama and Clinton. I was willing to own up the fact that I was going to have to hold my nose and vote at least once this year. I really don't think I can do it twice in less than 11 months. That just too much.

I have thought long and hard about this. My mind is made made up. The only thing that's realy upsetting to me about this is that we are not even half way through all the states and the choices are filed down to two. Think that's bad, imagine how those primary voters in Michigan and Florida feel?

Those votes don't count for squat and most likely discouraged a lot of other folks from voting. Going to the polls in those states are complete waste of time.

Maybe the best way to stick a fork in the ass of the pundits, and corporate media who have all but decided this election, is to stay home this primary.

The primary system really pisses me off.
I (and millions of others) NEVER have a voice in choosing the nominee. Our primary is not until March 4. There is little reason for me to vote in it so I am just not going to bother. I might only vote in local races in the fall as well but I haven't made up my mind.

6. I agree alarimer
I hate that New Hampshire and Iowa have like 20 times the power with their votes than anybody else-that needs to be changed

13. It is really worse than that IA and the M$M did John Edwards in and he came in second
the number of Dem voters in IA was just under 240K - once Obama won there with only about 20K more than Edwards and Clinton - the media was off an running making this a two person race I knew in my heart of hearts that this thing was over for Edwards after IA - didn't want to believe it but as the media marginalized him more and more every day and focused on Obama and Clinton the handwriting was on the wall- that means that only 20K people made this a two person race for the rest of the millions of us out here.

I just did a google to get the numbers on IA and do you know that there was a poll there listing the percentages in IA Obama 38% Clinton 29.4% Edwards 29.7% - for the love of God even though Edwards didn't beat Clinton by much he did actually beat her and they listed him third - it is RIDICULOUS....

1. Your vote for hillary replaces one stolen Florida vote. GIVE FLORIDA back its voice!
"Those votes don't count for squat and most likely discouraged a lot of other folks from voting."

Help Correct it then.

16. Uh .......OK
Nader doesn't give me the willies.

After 2004 I think most folks would have given up on that BS.

No wonder why the primaries suck now.

4. I wouldn't dare try that down here
in Florida-I wasn't able to vote in the 98 midterms and they took my name off the rolls for 2000-they used it as an excuse as to why they disenfranchised me....even though I was for Edwards all along, the last weeks leading up to our primary it was looking like the Edwards campaign had all but given up-I was right so I'm glad my wife and I switched over to Obama

12. I think they are predicting an ice storm
here for Super Tuesday. Won't that be fun?

I hope no one asks me for a ride to the polls. I may have to have my husband take me. I don't like to drive in ice storms.

23. No, that was not ksb.
I was in their er once for a broken wrist. I had my children there a couple of times, but that was more than ten years ago.

ksb was was professional during the three times we had to use the er. My bad er experience was somewhere else. Think of another nearby community hospital.

I have a theory about ksb. I think their nursing staff is good, but some of the doctors leave a lot to be desired.

Vote for Romney. He'd be easier to beat than McCain. However, that said I don't know if I could pull the lever for a repuke.

to send a message on Super Tuesday and shock the pundits.Edwards may have suspended campaigning, but we don't have to.lets bump up that Delegate count. There isn't a nickels worth of difference in the other two anyway. We might as well be useful with our voices and not be silenced!

17. Isn't Edwards still on the ballot in your state? You can still vote for him.
Or you can write in a candidate.

Just let your voice be heard.

Edited on Thu Jan-31-08 07:53 PM by unapatriciated
is to vote for your candidate. If his name is not on the ballot write it in. Don't let your voice be silenced. I will be casting my vote for Edwards on Tuesday. The GE is soon enough for me to vote their choice.
