5. hi, angie
I was just trying to figure that out myself. I know Illinois, Georgia and Alabama are states where he's leading. Not sure if there are others but he's competitive in CA, MA and CT. I'm pretty sure there are other states where he's either leading or competitive as well.

8. ...
Hi Cali, I'm wondering if Obama camp is doing internal polling b/c after watching CNN they stated that there were alot of small Obama leaning states but I can't remember all of them. I looked at CNN's website but they don't have the info there. The polls I've seen haven't reflected the states they were referring to so thats why I asked. We'll see I guess. Thanks for your response.

9. This site might help you.
http://www.uselectionatlas.org/POLLS/PRESIDENT/2008D/polls.php

This site summarizes the polls for the Dem candidates taken in each state, as well as a prediction of who will win the primary in that state based on the most recent polls. It's not 100% accurate (i.e. the predicted winner in NH per this site was Obama, and the recent poll showing Obama leading in AL is not shown) and the site doesn't yet consider the effect of Edwards dropping out (as not enough time has elapsed for accurate polls to be completed). But this should at least give you a start.

To answer your question, I think Obama is in the lead in GA, AL, and IL, and this site I linked above shows a poll where Obama is leading by 1% in NC, a statistical dead heat with Clinton.

I hope this helps. :hi:
