Elected or Selected
I am beginning to feel that our candidates and our president in this country is selected for the people instead of being elected by the people.

4. I was really hoping it would be different this time
I don't think they will want Obama in the end.

6. Selected...
...by the Republican party.

I'm fairly convinced that the "election" was always going to be to Republican tinkering. Neither Clinton nor Obama will pursue any allegations of fraud or wrongdoing if they want to continue in their careers. Edwards was my last hope; he was already inflaming Big Business (and suffering lack of media coverage for it) and had little left to lose.

7. What if everyone on this forum asks their senator to endorse their candidate of choice
What if everyone on this forum asks their senator to endorse their candidate of choice

If everyone on this forum would write to their senator and ask them to endorse their candidate of choice (Hillary or Obama) would it make a difference.

I am going to start today. It might be worth a try.

The more endorsements the greater our chances for change.

I feel the Republican candidate will be another puppet.

8. Who has been selected????
This is about the third or fourth thread with this kind of theme, but none of them will say which candidate has been selected. :sarcasm:

I'm dying to know... is it Clinton or Obama?

10. Both - Race and Gender Issues
The choices have been narrowed down to a Woman and a Black Man in a country that has never had either in the White House and has never had a First Man in the White House.

I pray America in the GE will be able to pick one of these candidates breaking history but I live around a lot of rednecks and I don't know that they will be able to bring themselves to choose either of these candidates when it comes down to one democratic and one republican candidate and they are in that voting booth alone.

The Republicans will figure out which one it will be harder for America to Vote for and prop that candidate up through the media.

I can only hope otherwise.

14. Classic conspiracy theory response... no predictive power in the theory.
If this all-powerful force selected the candidate, wouldn't some of the geniuses who came up with this theory come up with a name... not two?

11. Something is wrong with Edwards Dropping Out
I feel he was told to pull out. It was too abrupt.
