Obama in KC yesterday
Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 09:34 PM by proud2Blib
This isn't a very good video (it's from a cell phone) but it is interesting. There was an overflow crowd at the Obama rally yesterday and a lot of people were not allowed in the venue. (I have heard numbers from a hundred to a thousand, so don't I know exactly how many people). They waited across the street at a park and Obama came out and talked to them after his speech inside. It was REALLY cold, in the low teens, and these people waited for several hours for him to come talk to them. This is a video of his remarks to this crowd.

2. It's hard to say if I am more impressed with the people who waited all that time
in the freezing weather or with Obama coming out there to talk to them.

3. Today in Denver, he gave a his speech to the overflow crowd in the
Lacrosse field, then to the overflow people in another gymnasium and then the official one in the auditorium.

It is what happens when 18,000 people show up and only 10,000 can fit in the room.

4. I'd say both.
I think it's important to note that he felt the people outside in the cold where just as important as those inside. Not everyone would have done that. I'm sure his schedule is packed pretty tight.
