Top 10 Reasons I'll Be Voting Kerry
Edited on Wed Mar-03-04 03:21 PM by khephra
Yes, I'll admit it. I'm not too happy about my choice at this point...and that Nader outburst a few weeks back may have you wondering about me, but emotions have been running high here for everyone. To any of you that I've pissed off, I do hope you'll forgive me.

Anyway....

I'm an Indiana boy, so I'm allowed to rip off Letterman.

Here are my top 10 reasons for voting for Kerry this fall....

10....Powell's Failed Diplomacy

9....Ridge's INsecurity

8....Rumsfeld's Press Follies

7....Cheney's Energy Policy

6....Scalia's "Impartiality"

5....Reich's Coups

4....Perle's PNAC

3....Rove's Neo-Machiavellianism

2....Ashcroft's McCarthyism

1....Bush's...well, everything is wrong with Bush.

2. Don't worry, Kef
After we help take back the White House, we'll still be the DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND. The liberal wing of the Democratic party has awoken and discovered its power. We'll be holding Kerry's feet to the fire about the issues that matter to us.

The (crucial) difference between Kerry and Bush is that I believe Kerry will listen, and actually be persuaded on things.

Good times are ahead!

6. I really think that if one just can't honestly be pro-Kerry
being anti-Bush is probably going to be just as good. We can all play the role we will be best at ($ donator, volunteer, pro-Kerry messenger, anti-Bush messenger). I'm working on being pro-Kerry, but if I don't make it (I'm really bad at lying) I will stick to the anti-Bush rhetoric to do my part in support of our nominee. I might engage in some constructive criticism, but only in private with people I know are going to support Kerry.
