1. Republicon homlander propagandists are a hoot-and-a-half
Snarf. How pathetic that they imagine themselves to be journalists, or to have a shred of integrity. Snarf.

3. I liked the party rep. who was talking about how the campaigns there had gone grassroots
since they weren't officially sanctioned.

5. "Respecting voters" in one state that thumbed their noses at the voters in 49 others.
I see your point.

11. How could they have stopped their party officials?
I've been urging WA state's party officials to replace the damn caucuses with a primary -- but I haven't had any success so far.

15. You are one person. Perhaps there are more.
No one (least of all me) blames you alone for not getting the caucuses replaced. But if more like you kept at it, and got more to join, especially on a crucial issue, eventually you could get the job done. Organize, organize, organize! as Paul Wellstone used to say.

The Florida issue was all over the papers. The Democratic voters could have stopped their party officials from screwing up everything. They didn't get it done. Rules are rules.

Even Hillary is saying that it will take a vote at the convention, I believe. From what I've read, that would likely have happened anyhow. But Hillary's move here is something that will backfire for the party down the road. A real leader doesn't squander the future well-being for the present urgency.

7. I wish I could see a film of it - are you saying that she is pumping for Clinton?
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 04:42 PM by higher class
If yes and given who she is - we should not question who the Republicans pantingly want to win the nomination.

And who is she? I transparent vile propaganda shoveler for Republicans. I see her and I picture on her knees kissing the ermine trimmed robe of her king. I guess I don't respect her.

9. I remember there was some story a while back about Candy being on a bus bashing Dennis
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 04:55 PM by MetricSystem
Kucinich's looks while cookie crumbs fell from her mouth. True story, apparently. Ooh, I found the account:

***I think the one image that will stick with me is Candy Crowley (CNN) jamming fistfuls of complimentary chocolate chip cookies into her mouth in a bus in Houston (the Kerry campaign had given us all free cookies wrapped in American-flag-patterned bandanas) and talking about Kucinich. She's got this huge waterfall of crumbs coming out of her mouth and she's talking about how ugly Kucinich is. That to me summed up the whole campaign press crew, right there..***
