Edwards Supporters: Which states do you think John will win on Super Tuesday?
Me, I'm thinking it will be too close to call across the board. And Edwards has a good chance of picking up many Southern and Midwestern states...

6. Doesn't matter.
There is a reasonable chance that Edwards becomes the nominee at the Convention. ;)

7. He will win none but a vote for Edwards is a vote for Gore.
Or at least thats what his campaign manager says.

14. Bonior said on MSNBC that he wishes John is the nominee, but spoke about a brokered convention
and that if people voted for Edwards enough to force a brokered convention, we could have Gore.

16. spreading your own rumors?
Starting a "viral marketing campaign" are we? Trying to get a buzz going?

On the thread where you first posted your speculations and interpretations about this there is no quote, no context and no link.

I do not believe that Bonior said that "a vote for Edwards is a vote for Gore." I don't think you do, either. That is your interpretation and analysis of what you actually heard.

8. It's not necessarily about winning states, but picking up as many delegates as possible.
In that regards, he should do well in Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Georgia, and other state like that that his message appeals to midwestern and southern voters.

One poster on DU posted that he's polling at/or above 15% in 11 of the 19 Super Tuesday states, which mean he'll pick up delegates from those states. And a few others he's closing to the 15% marker. And I was reading that memo leaked from the Edwards camp about their strategy to pick up the nomination, and it showed some interesting figures from some of the states. Like for instance in North Dakota he has 2,500 members of unions supporting him and only 10,000+ voted in ND in 2004. And in Oklahoma, he's got a lot of support and did well in 2004--and in polls he runs even with Obama. And they have a fair number of delegates. Same thing in Missouri, where Edwards polls close to/above 20 percent. And is campaigning, as I witnessed yesterday when he came to my town in MO, and is running advertisements here because of the fundraising boom.

He's going to compete on Super Tuesday.

And pick up delegates.

10. A win for Edwards is any state where he picks up delegates.
So, places like Oklahoma, Missouri, and Idaho are definitely in, but he is competitive for delegates across the board.
