And the thought of voting myself a moderate windfall did cross my mind, then I remembered that I was a progressive and that moderate windfall would end up choking even more funds off from education, infrastructure, law enforcement, etc....You know, the glue that keeps our society together and stuff.

In addition amendment #1 is simply a shell game, while you save on property taxes, municipalities will simply be forced to collect their funds by raising other variious fees and assesments. The only thing it accomplishes is giving the crooked incompetants (mostly Pukes) in Tally something to run on next election, "Oh lookey at Me I cut taxes-yeehaw!!!!"

7. Maybe....
but the housing market in Florida needs a boost. Not voting for it also singles out lower income people who will never be able to buy a house with the way taxes are right now. It's a ctach 22. But it also helps to offest some of the outrageous insurance increases.

I think it will pass.

8. I think the only thing it's passage will prove is that
The average person will always take the short view and vote to put more money in their pockets. Of course as their kids school deteriorates, roads breakdown and it takes the cops 45 minutes to show up at your front door after you call in a crime the very same person will cry about Gubmint not doing enough.

Oh well, I guess if Senor Marco "Sate farm" Rubio is for it, it must be good.

9. No, that's not true.
There is a paper receipt that comes out. It's a printer attached to the voting machine, and when you vote, it records it on paper. I watched it spit it out, and it goes into a container.
