1. Long shot because of the tight GOP race combined with no
DEM campaigning - but I agree - that would be great and keep up the developing pattern so far.

24. It would ease my mind about Florida in the GE...
To know the nominee will not have to "win back" voters after the convention.

20. Thanks for the info
It's pretty close for such a large state. I'd love to see our candidates bring in more votes even if they "don't count". Anything to depress the pub turnout.

3. Do you mean that Democrats can cross over today in Florida

and then vote as a Democrat in the General?

5. No
Florida is a closed primary. No independents or crossovers.

7. Florida is also a "winner take all" primary on the GOP side
Anybody now hw many DEM primaries are "winner take all"?

10. Is it "winner take all" even if somebody squeaks by with one or two percent?

8. No, just that they come out to vote in the Dem Primary in record numbers...
regardless of whether their delegates get seated or not.

19. Even though my guy is going down today, it's a shame that
Florida got the campaign ban from the DNC. I heard last night that the DNC might have let Florida's move go except they had already "hardlined" on Michigan and felt they needed to be consistent with Florida as well.

but only took 1/2 the delegates away for Florida.

22. But allowed campaigning... that's the diff
I think that campaigning in Florida and gaining that exposure in primary season would have been a positive for the eventual nominee. The GOP guys are gaining that exposure.

23. That's why I think it was stupid
Millions of FL voters have no chance to meet or listen to our candidates. I know it's important to a lot of people to do so. Monumental mistake by the DNC.
