9. You really don't get it, do you?
The nominee will ONLY seat the delegates if they have already won.

BUT, Florida will have NO say in who that nominee is. So, no, the votes don't count. They don't go toward actually DECIDING who the nominee is.

So, let's imagine this scenario: Since it's Hilary we are talking about here, I'm going to use her as the front-runner.

So, Hilary Clinton, going into the final stretch toward the convention is up however many votes without Michigan and Florida. Let's say Obama beats her by a huge margin in Florida, enough that seating the delegates from both Michigan and Florida would make Obama the nominee. There is NO CHANCE IN HELL that she will seat the delegates. Same goes the other way around.

So, the delegates will only be seated if it doesn't not change the current state of things and, therefore, they don't count for shit.

12. your statement is so convoluted only an obama supporter
could understand.......HRC will win florida today. So, don't get all bent as I do recall your candidates name is on the ballot too. And one other thing this ted kennedy endorsement is being seen by whore media as a plus for obama in the latino community. Excuse me please but it was Bobby Kennedy that had the rapport with latinos and worked with them and helped get them involved in politics, and if I recall it is the children of Bobby Kennedy that are supporting HRC, and oh by the way the United farm Workers already endorsed HRC and we already have evidence this helped her....do ya recall Nevada....This will help hrc in arizona, new mexico and others areas as well.....

15. And just who the hell do you think my candidate is?
I used Hilary as an example, because they started out talking about her.

But the simple fact is (dumbing it down):

NONE of the candidates will seat the Florida delegates if it would give the nomination to another candidate. NONE of them. And since none of them are willing to seat them in that case, Florida (and Michigan) have NO SAY in who the nominee is.

11. The opinion of a million voters counts for a lot.
I dare anyone who thinks otherwise to refrain from discussing any political opinion polls that come out between now and Novembers election if you disagree with me on that.

10. Life-long Democrat in Florida
who says you need to understand what has happened down here in this not-so-insignificantly-sized state. The Republicans in the state legislature moved the primary date up, knowing full well the response the DNC would have. The DNC promptly put Florida off-limits to in-state campaigning, and "took away" the delegates. Hillary maintains a sizable margin in polling, and will undoubtedly win by same. No real race here, just watching everyone else get to ask questions and get answers. Now, all of a sudden, the Florida delegates are the BIG QUESTION...if HRC needs them, they MUST COUNT. It isn't just Barack that says don't seat them...Florida Democrats are pissed at the DNC and the backlash will be felt next November. The DNC has taken a major state and neutered it, until those votes are "needed". Well, screw the DNC...they engineered 2006 (good job) and have subsequently aimed squarely at their own feet with double-barreled shotguns. Our Congressional "leadership" has lost all direction and momentum in less than a year. They are afraid to lead...their jobs are more important. More of the same is all good. Bush has to leave, regardless. So...screw all of us, too. The DNC is afraid of real change, because we would change them, too. So the party will follow Hillary one way or the other, regardless of what may or may not be best for the country, let alone the party. Regardless of who one favors in all this, do not ignore the way the DNC is designing the program and facilitating the design.
DNC = Deliver the Nomination to Clinton!

14. The vote of all Floridians will be disected in every way possible tonight
From the Chatahoochie River to the tip of Duval Street, from each and every barrier island, we will know how many times Floridians sneezed.

She will speak a strong story tonight, Florida. And the world will sit right down and listen to her.
