Just got done watching all the morning shows.....
....and nary a mention of a snubbed handshake.

The lead political story on all of them was the Kennedy endorsement.

Kennedy and Obama were the first guests on the Today show.

Sorry, Clinton supporters... you'll have to find some other way to change the dynamic. The "handshake-gate" isn't playing in the media.

Maybe Hillary can cry at the debate Thursday night. It worked once.

1. question
Honest question, Obama supporter here.

Do you think this Rezco thing is going to blow up? For the most part the morning shows seem to be ignoring it.

6. Rezco thing....
...I don't think most of America cares..... or will care.

Also.... Do the Clintons REALLY want to begin comparing the criminal records of contributors???

Do they REALLY REALLY want to go there?

....because... for every Rezco on the Obama side, there are 10 such characters in Bill and Hillary's past.

7. no
if there was anything to this that would lead to an indictment he would have been told. how he would have been told is one of the intricacies of illinois politics. poor judgement on his part at that time? yes. hillary has made some questionable judgements in her circle of "friends". the people who wish him to be indicted will have to wait till he`s charged

8. What, is there a video of the event?
As juvenile as a lot of our own Obama supporters are acting over this, in the real world, this is a non-issue, like just about all the other "high crimes" that have been committed in this campaign.

It's like the old explanation of why professional academics are so brutally cut-throat: because so little is at stake.

4. It was definitely discussed on CNN and C-SPAN.
I'm boycotting MSNBC so can't speak for those scumbags.

5. It's not up to Hillary what gets covered. Had she snubbed Obama, it would
have been the lead story on all the networks. If Ted had supported her, there would have been laughter in the from the rafters of the networks to the floor. It's a free campaign ad for Hillary in Florida, where they do get the network news. I hope people can see beyond this media love-fest with Obama.

10. I believe
Obama should have pushed Kennedy out of the way and laid a big wet one on Hillary's cheek. :sarcasm: If the Clinton campaign is depending on little gossip/drama events like this one, it is indeed in trouble.

11. Actually, a lot of us Obama supporters who like Clinton were quite bothered
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 08:44 AM by Onlooker
Two people I know who are supporting Obama but also like Clinton were really bothered by his snub. I first learned about it here. But, my friends learned about it on tv. It was stupid of him. He didn't lose our votes, but I bet he hurt his momentum a little at a time when he apparently still needs it.

12. My prayers are with Obama. He may meet as sad an end as JFK and Bobby.
