version of Handshake-gate a moment ago, as relayed by the AP photographer to took the picture, is DU's contingent of Team Obama ready to throw in the towel?

at best it's still a bad campaign decision.

He had to realize him and Hillary would have at least one camera trained on them.

8. This is why I don't think it was intentional
He knew the camera was on him, and he knew how dumb it would have been to just turn away. I honestly think he thought he was doing the right thing by letting Hillary and Ted have a moment together.

I'd like to see an actual video of the exchange.

35. It is absolutely in keeping with his style of
SELF-INFLICTED wounds.

No matter how you look at it, Obama need look no further than his own mirror in assigning blame. It is time you Obamites took some responsibility, instead of reflexively looking for someone else to blame for your candidate's gaffes.

Whether he is channeling Reagan, bashing the left wing of his Party, throwing activism under the bus, being rude at a debate, being rude tonight, dealing with a known political fixer, telling white lies about his past, the cumulative effect is of a self-destructive candidate.

Obama has no one to blame, but Obama.

20. There is no video, only the photo
That is what KO touched upon, that he is taking the word of the AP photographer whom he feels is trustworthy, on the matter.

I'm just trying to see how this affects the Obama camp here; obviously KO is held in very high regard on this forum...and rightly so...so it will be interesting to see if he gets attacked by the Obama camp, called a "sellout" or whatever the choice term will be when the bloggers wake up tomorrow.

The picture, as I and others have shown, doesn't really prove much, aside from Hillary wanting to shake hands with Ted. The picture isn't even wide enough to show if Obama is turning to talk to anyone in particular.

How many people saw this so called "snub?" I certainly did not.

Is this all you got? It's pathetically insufficient.

More from The Page on David Axelrod's appearance on Morning Joe regarding the "snub..."

OBAMA CAMPAIGN: NO SNUB INTENDED

On “Morning Joe,” Obama chief strato-man Axelrod said The Snub wasn’t a snub, but simply a matter of Obama dealing with the “awkwardness” of the day and wanting to give Kennedy and Clinton a private moment.

If this has a measurable effect on the election, I give up. This is starting to rival the stupidity of the media coverage of Al Gore's 'sighs'. None of us have any idea what really happened there, no matter what people speculate about it.

http://www.statesman.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/austin/politics/entries/2008/01/28/tejano_democrats_endorse_sen_c.html

It takes a 2/3rd vote for an endorsement -- so it wasn't even close.

Who cares if it was intentional on Obama's part or not (regardless of the fact that we know it was intentional)? The point is: Obama looks like a mean, classless man.
