Will the media give Obama a pass on his snub of Hillary?
One can only imagine the frenzy if Hillary were to have snubbed Obama. 24/7 nonstop coverage of the Witch. How will Obama fare? So far, we have the AP photos and the report. Will the media echo this story for a day or two or more, or is it already over?

7. It's neck and neck between threads on this topic started by Obama supporters vs Non Obama supporters
I avoided starting a thread in order to make that observation.

19. Then perhaps Hillary herself should clear up the issue once and for all. Perhaps a TV ad?
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 12:35 AM by Dr Fate
She has media access- why should she let them spin it. She should set the record straight and make sure all the moderates & swing-voters no THE TRUTH, starting with a hand-Shake themed appearance on Larry King.

22. Wow... you have no ability to recognize sarcasm...
...and you take yourself WAY too seriously...

Relax, Francis.

You should be pissed that your candidate's husband became William Jefferson Atwater last week and turned what would've been a 8-10 point Obama win in SC into a 28 point blowout.

Your hero has lost control of her husband... and she can't reign him in. Imagine what he'll be like in the White House....

25. My name isn't Francis and your demeaning Bill Clinton by calling him Lee Atwater is disgusting.
This is DEMOCRATIC Underground. Did you make your way to the wrong board with all your RW talking points and slurs against the Clintons?

Oh yeah, BTW...I'm an Edwards supporter, but I refuse to let people bash Hill and Bill just to make their candidate look better.

And your first post wasn't the least bit funny. If I were you I'd delete it before you have the secret service on your doorstep for threatening a First Lady. We do have agent Mike here, you know.

If Hillary wants to make the handshake a central theme/issue of her camapign, she has access to plenty of mics to & cameras to make it happen.

24. Why not? It has been giving him a pass on anything
Has anyone sat with him to actually pin him down about his track record and his plans?

No, he is black and charismatic and eloquent is not... Hillary. The media is falling all over him, afraid to be referred to as racist, otherwise. While Clinton has been drilled on every angle, Obama is given a pass.

No wonder he admires the Teflon president Reagan. He is our Teflon candidate.

And basking in the glow of coward Ted Kennedy who pretended to be neutral, pretend to come out to praise Obama after "admonishing Clinton" instead of just coming out and express his support, the way Kerry did.

26. If she wants a fair shake-Hillary could correct the media and let voters know THE TRUTH.
Hillary has media access- all she has to do is go on all the shows and set the record straight on this issue.

"I will not let big-media distort my record on handshakes..." Something like that.

29. Sure. He'll get a pass. He's been anointed by the corprat media (for now...)
If Edwards really wanted some coverage though, he could probably snub Hillary or PopeBama and get plenty of it (albiet negative).
