11. My God, you attacks are getting LAME. This one is the worst yet.
She made a bad joke (messiah Obama never, I'm sure), said the Kerry gaffe "shouldn't divert us" (did you want it to?), and made a case that if one set of workers can caucus at the workplace, then all should (more people voting is a bad thing, I guess? Well, we saw what the voters at the casinos thought about all that, didn't we?)

meaning she believes that he insulted or hated the troops.

17. She could have said "I will not comment" and move on, but instead

she played along with a GOP smear. She knew what she was doing. I would have respected her more for doing that (saying "no comment"), but she had own agenda.

Bottom line, she still said the word "inappropriate."

23. well, maybe it was inappropriate, at the core of it, that is debatable
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 10:48 PM by Skip Intro
he didn't say what he meant to say, exactly, so maybe it was inappropriate...

what the repukes did was drive it into a political hot potato during an election year and by the time Kerry was forced to address it, some Dems had called on him to apologize. I was always proud of the fact that Hillary never did. This had gotten so escalated, threatening to spin out of control, as an election approached and Democrats still faced with a proven repuke smear of "hating the military" - and many were spinning it that way. I don't remember anyone making the argument that the growing outrage was caused by something that had been rediculously blown out of purportion. This was treated delicately, at least, by all. There was a danger for Democrats at that point. Many demanded Kerry apologize, and he was forced to do so, forced - to do damage control. For Hillary to say it was "inapropriate" while refusing to call on him to apologize, I think, was quite appropriate.

ads in spanish saying Hillary was their enemy?

yet she got a huge majority of their vote

ironic that Obama supporters may have cost him that election

22. Ads that said Hillary was the "enemy"?
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 10:45 PM by tammywammy
Very wrong, yet I couldn't find that. The one ad I could find called her "shameless," vastly different than enemy.

Regardless, it's good the lawsuit didn't go through and neither activities dissuaded voters from polling for their preferred candidate.
