I Just Voted for Barack Obama!
I've sealed my absentee ballot for my very first vote of any kind for a President or a primary. This is so exciting! Add one to Barack Obama's total in New Jersey

GOBAMA!!!

12. John Edwards+Geoff Fieger = indictment - his hands aren't totally clean either.

if you want a perfect candidate you'll be sorely disappointed.

4. I just voted for Edwards.
It's exciting too. Not in the tingly-all-over-about-to-cry way that Obama people get excited. More in the grownup "that was the right thing to do" kind of way. But still exciting.

6. Congrats... I sent mine in CA last week

but I first voted in 1968 and first campaigned (as a high school student) in 1960 for John F. Kennedy.

I was 19, nearly 20, in 1964 but until 1972 you had to be 21 to vote.

15. You don't have early voting in Ohio?
I never knew that. I like it because it gives me two weeks to make it to the library near my house. You never know what will happen on the actual election day and I'd hate to miss it b/c of unusual circumstances.

Good luck getting it.

19. There's absentee voting if a voter certifies s/he will be...
...out of county on election day. The new SoS wants open voting for two weeks prior to the traditional election day.
