3. Well, it's good to know that he remembers us
Helping out on setting up that interview was a high point for me this primary season. I'll always remember that time with a great fondness.

You did do one hell of a great interview, Will. I'm proud of you.

4. The thanks was for truthandhope.org
It's a grassroots organization that provided resources for radio ads in VT and other selected markets.

5. Oh well...it would have been nice if he'd thanked us
I'll pretend that he did, ok?

8. He did say ".com", not ".org"
So it's easier to pretend he meant truthout than the one he was actually referring to. ;-)

6. This is a group formed by Dean supporters.
Edited on Tue Mar-02-04 11:32 PM by madfloridian
Eugene Hedlund, the founder, is/was a staunch Republican who felt like he no longer belonged to that party.
The ads made by them through donations by us have been running on radio mostly, just a few on TV.
Eugene put it all together quickly and efficiently, and the group is part of the Dean organization that is coming together.

Here is the major ad that Dean might have been referring to:

7. Thanks Madfl for the link
Truth and Hope! what we need and what we've lost in the 2004 campaign.

9. Yes, we lost a lot of that.
Eugene to me is special in that he personifies what the Republicans have lost as well. They have also, many of the true ones, lost their hope.

He has been amazing in pulling this together, truly passionate.

10. In fact, DFL, this is what is meant by the grassroots organization.
I don't think people realized that we have been doing this not just for the campaign, but setting up for the future of the DFA in its new form.

I believe over 80 groups are signed up at one site, each with a job to do.

We ain't gonna go anywhere for a long time.

11. Yes and 50 thousand people signed up
I think that is the number I read. 50k people involved in 2004 politics, willing to do more than go to the polls and votes.... and as disgusted as most of us are with the national candidate the DLC shoved on us, we will be looking for places to use our energy.
I don't know about you guys, but my Dean meet-up is growing.
