With six weeks to go before the New Hampshire primary, SurveyUSA takes its first poll of the season in the Granite State:

Dean 45
Kerry 15

The survey was taken December 14-16 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5%.

1. don't forget about Lieberman…
according to this poll, he's got just as much of a chance of overtaking Kerry for 2nd as Clark does.

2. But he's been campaigning there for a long time, shouldn't he be at 90%?

4. this is interesting…
Liberals prefer Dean 4:1 over Kerry.

Conservatives prefer Dean 4:3 over Lieberman.

6. Nonetheless, wow.
Really, wow. This is very good for Dean, troubling for the rest of us. I'd really love the good doctor to start showing a bit of what it takes to bring in the political fence straddlers as well as Clark has.

7. Odd though it may be
I believe Lieberman reaped some sympathy votes after being snubbed by Gore. Sympothy is short lived as a motivater. Reality sets back in.
