Dirty Tricks? Lights go out in Cleveland - Kucinich's Congress. District
Just got passed this email by a DK campaign volunteer

> Date: 3/2/2004 5:51:57 PM
> Subject: sending some light...
>
> Hi All,
>
> I believe we have a battle between Light and Dark going on in the
world.
> If you'd like to do what you can to help, here's an opportunity.
>
> It's 5:15 pm on Super Tuesday. We just got word that the power has gone off in E Cleveland, including the E Cleveland Campaign office. The electric company (First Energy) that DK refused to sell the Cleveland public electric utility (Muny light) to when he was mayor controls the power in that part of Cleveland. Some of DK's strongest support is in this congressional district. Without power, people can't vote. (I don't know what the options are for correcting the situation to let people vote
later)
>
> Now would be a good time to send light to East Cleveland, if you're so inclined.
>
> Please network your networks asking others to join in.

> thanks, love and peace,

Thought you all might want to be aware.

SOMEBODY does not want Dennis Kucinich getting delegates

10. What is sad is that Democracy is being perverted and stolen
and people crack up.

As if fascists do not ever try to steal elections and eliminate votes of the opposition.

Pitiful.

12. if fascists were trying to steal elections
they wouldn't cause a power outage in one of the most republican counties in the state in order to defeat a guy pulling less than 3% of the vote.

Good god, man, loosen the tinfoil.

16. First energy used to be Frist Energy. And before that it was Ferry Energy
Edited on Tue Mar-02-04 11:42 PM by John_H
Yes. THAT Ferry. Before that it was Clay Shaw Enterprises which was an offshoot of Lee H. Oswald and Associates.

It must also be taken into account that the song "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia" was originally called "The Night That George W. Put the Lights out in Ohio." Further, "Super Freak" and "Ruby Tuesday" Were released on Exactly the same day 16 years apart--on a the first (or is it Frist) Tuesday in March.

When Decoded the message is clear--"Super Tuesday was the First Night George W. Put the Lights out in Ohio."

Obviously, as Seventhson so correctly points out, this is NO coincidence.

19. ridicule away, the whole lot of you...
This is the power company with which Mayor D. Kucinich had the dramatic showdown back in the 1970s, when he refused to sell the city power company. It led directly to his downfall as mayor. They are his lifetime political enemies. He just accused them of causing the blackout of last August.

There is nothing outlandish in the idea that someone there hates his guts, or that a political sabotage could be arranged as a bit of payback.

What I can't believe is that in the land of Nixon and the dirty-tricks crew and the Plumbers... not to mention Bush and October Surprise and the Florida Coup... that on the board formerly dedicated to undoing that coup... mentioning the obvious possibility of sabotage is treated on the same level with saying Santa Claus came down the chimney last night.

Unfortunately, while your message is quite clear and on target, I have a hunch your "bumpersticker" does nothing to increase it being heard.

21. I'm going to give that up soon...
too many people are failing to see it's JOHN Buchanan, the jokester who ran against Bush in New Hampshire as the 9/11 Truth Candidate, not Pat Buchanan, the racist.

You know, I think both were born with the same name.

It's still a Republican...

Whatever....

I'm just remarking because what you had to say was important, and I hate to see it dismissed because of some association with "the other side of the aisle".

You know all the leaping that goes on here....

Another Delusional Diehard for Dennis!!

23. This "Republican"
--authored the latest articles confirming the Prescott Bush-Nazi connections with research in the National Archives...

--decided to run in NH as the 9/11 Truth candidate against Bush...

--delivered a whole bunch of "Bush Knew" speeches to NH voters in the process...

--at the same time, his campaign manager was placing a series of four full-page ads on the 9/11 Coverup in the Manchester Union-Whatever, right on the days leading up to the primary (i.e., the journos of the world were reading the paper).

So he's fighting the good fight and anyway, he ain't going to be president but like Kevin Phillips, may strike the knockout blow against Bush anyway. (Not in a primary though, I doubt he's on any other ballots)

Ack, been working all night... incoherent... g'night.
