Yes He Can- Fight That Is.
I've been saying for a while that Obama is a hell of a fighter. He's a smart fighter, and he gives nothing away. Make no mistake about it, the past few weeks have been about a fight between Hillary and Bill Clinton, two of the savviest political figures around, and major league scrappers with a formidable machine behind them. And Obama's doing just fine. It may be early innings yet, but if you still don't think he'll fight and fight successfully, you're just not seeing what's right in front of you.

2. If he does great - he'll win the nomination. It should be a tough fight
right now. Our democratic nominee should be vetted. They should have to show how hard they can fight.

4. I'm with you , he can fight and win, he can not fight and win
When he is on message nobody is better, and he holds his own in a knife fight. Even if that fight is 2 on 1.

5. Life imitates boxing, again.
Edited on Sun Jan-27-08 06:11 PM by H2O Man
I remember once when I was a young teen, lying about my age in order to be able to fight on an amateur boxing card in Albany. There was a guy in the locker room at the weigh-ins, with a mean face complete with scar tissue, a horizontal nose, and a scowl sure enough so ugly it would frighten his father. I was a little nervous, because he also had some serious muscles. My older brother noticed me noticing the guy. He pulled me aside, and said that the guy got so ugly by getting beat up.

Sure enough, he got flattened in one round.

In boxing, it is usually the guys who don't look like fighters, and who don't try to intimidate others, that turn out to be the best fighters. There is a reason they don't get lumpy faces with scar tissue.
