Can we just agree on one thing at least?
There's a lot of animosity going on between Obama and Hillary supporters, which is to be expected during a heated primary. And yes, I've taken part in some of it myself.

But once this process is over, whoever our nominee is, we need to come back together, make nice, and concentrate on defeating the rethugs. I simply cannot stomach the thought of another 4-8 years of rethug rule, so we need to make sure that we vote in such overwhelming numbers that they can't possibly steal this election.

7. Amen....I've already made clear that I have no intentions for voting for him,
under any circumstances.

I don't like the way he's run his campaign at all. It's been downright disgusting.

- Not repudiating his campaign for saying that Hillary Clinton "is no phony. She just plays one on tv."

- Not repudiating his campaign for calling Sen. Clinton "D-Punjab."

- Not repudiating David Axelrod for equating Sen. Clinton's IRW vote with Butto's death.

And now you're backtracking.

9. I dont care who it is
I'd vote for ANY of the Democratic candidates over a rethug any day of the week. Especially when you consider who's running for the rethugs.

McCain? Please - the man is a doddering idiot, could easily get us into a war with Iran or North Korea
Romney? The man's a corporate fascist
Huckabee? No fucking way, I value religious freedom, and don't want to see Chuck Norris ever again
Ghouliani? Mr. 9-11? Hell no.

13. No, it doesn't.
Right now he makes me want to vomit and I will still vote for him if he's the Democrat.

So he's going to get away with every creepy, sleazy thing he does...and then he'll become a president with outrageous powers who can't be impeached because we didn't impeach George and because his supporters will shout racism if we say BOO! to him.

I'm so looking forward to it.

22. Well, there's another side to that, aquart
Looking forward to it might not nice, but once it gets here it probably won't be as bad as you're thinking. It's alot easier to simply be an unquenchable attack dog than it is to push for and understand the compromises necessary to make something good. That's how Rush Limbaugh and his ilk make themselves hundreds of millions of dollars. That's how much of DU is turning out to be so viciously hardcore against Democrats.

Think about it - should Hillary win, do you think the mass of Dem-Hating-Leftists on DU and the blogosphere are going to just fall in and help her and Democrats make their way? At all? No, they are going to be screaming bloody bile at every turn. Leaving honest, decent Democrats to try to explain and defend her Administration to close-minded, sneering fucks the entire way through. You might not want to look forward to how much fun winning will be either.

On the other hand, if Democrats, the country and the world lose so Obama can win, I can definitely see the enjoyment in attacking and character-smearing every single thing the self-adulating empty suit Obama does throughout his tenure, without so much as a tip of the hat to honesty or reasonableness. Do you have any idea how easy that is? It will be fun like a real Democrat rarely gets, because unlike attacking a Publican while you're being shoved into the mud, which just isn't much fun, you'll have a modicum of Democratic progress to sustain you while you still get to attack. This is most likely what we'll have to endure if Hillary wins the Presidency. But if Obama somehow pulls some more slime out of his hat and wins, you should think about playing gander for all it's worth.

I'm not looking forward to it either, but if it happens I know I can make it thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish, talking about how every single word out of that low-life's mouth is a lie and how he is weak and cowardly and self-serving and .....

The ugliness of DHL's and Clinton-haters in particular has taught me alot, and I'm more than ready to put it all into practice if it comes to that, and enjoy every offensive second of it.

All that said, I don't think we'll have to. I think Super-Tuesday is going to put us on the defensive for the next eight years.

2. Fear, as we've learned, is a strong motivator.
I have faith that the horror of the possibility of another 4-8 years of dictatorial rule will cement us together in our shared goal of eradicating the poison.

3. Hillary will fire Howard Dean to consolidate power. I will not enable that.
A Repugnant President contained by a Democratic Congress and the continuing growth of the party from Howard Dean is acceptable. It's called compromising with the realities at hand.

preferably Paper Ballots, marked by hand, and counted in Public on a national voting holiday or holidays if you count a weekend.

This would make all of the BS, and all of the CONTORTIONS to get bigger and bigger margins of voters to the poles, un-necessary.

Let's count the f-ing Votes!

12. I'm going to back the nominee, regardless of
who it is.

I think ALL 3 Democratic candidates - Edwards, Hillary and Obama are a great improvement over what we've been living with the last 8 years and I think they ALL are better than anything the Rethugs have to offer.

DEMOCRATIC PARTY ALL THE WAY.
