As the primaries progress, you may see some of these e-mails (most of which are false):

a)Barack Obama is a radical Muslim who won't recite the Pledge of Allegiance

b) Barack Obama took the oath of office on a Quoran

c) There is a photo of Obama without his hand over his heart during the National Anthem

d) Obama is a rascist, whose church has a non negotiable commitment to Africa that is covertly Muslim and excludes non-blacks

After the swift-boat attacks on John Kerry, I am a huge believer in understanding the other side's rhetoric and learning to hit back quickly. I'd urge anyone here to take the time to read these and learn how to respond. Should Obama win the nomination, e-mails with this content will become daily fare -- especially in the workplace.

2. The RW talking heads are just swooning over Obama right now

and condemning to hell those awful nasty people called the Clintons. Right now the RW is pushing Obama as hard as they can knowing full well there are a lot of Democrats that will listen to Hannity and Rush. The RW is trying to influence the Democratic primaries to Obama's advantage. Why? They know he's the one they can beat in November.

4. I know Obama has a lot of support, but I think you are right. I worked

with a republican who never voted in the republican primary, but always voted for the democrat who he thought the republican candidate could beat. You see with cons, it's not about putting the right person in the white house, it's all about winning. They'll vote for a monkey (George Bush as an example) in the general election, as long as it's a republican.

5. I agree, however...

... the counter argument is that the Cons want to Swiftboat Obama now, so they can face Hillary, who is wildly unpopular with Independents, and who they've prepared to run against for 8 years.

Either way, we need to learn how to confront these attacks now.
