Finally - The Politics Of Thuggish Mendacity Is On The Ropes
Edited on Sun Jan-27-08 12:05 AM by MannyGoldstein
I came home a few minutes ago to see that Obama bested Billary by 28%. That, my friends, is a major, major clock-cleaning.

For 20 years I've watched lying thugs win time and time again - first Bush, then the Clintons, then another damned Bush.

Finally, after 20 long years, I see that there might - just might - be a light at the end of the tunnel. I thank the good people of SC for giving me some hope for the future of our country.

the Obama supporters make this board practically insufferable when your candidate wins.

Bill Clinton started outsourced torture.
Hillary Clinton voted for a war just to score political points.

8. When they win
Edited on Sun Jan-27-08 12:10 AM by Harvey Korman
every other candidate is finished, they were flatly rejected by the electorate as lying, racist, conniving cretinous protectors of the status quo and that candidate's supporters should get on the "Obama train" (:eyes:) ASAP. If you don't believe them, they have plenty of "credible" sources like Peggy Noonan or Bill Bennett to confirm the demise of said candidate.

When they lose, it was fraud, there was voter suppression, racism, media bias or they didn't actually lose because they got one more/the same number of delegates despite winning fewer voters or caucus-goers.

And on and on.

52. He got a $90,000 judgment against him
Had to pay an $850,000 settlement to some lady who he never even bothered, rang up millions in legal bills, got impeached, lost his law license for five years, had to drop a case against his enemies, went through a grotesque public humiliation circus, lost communication with his daughter for years, got in big trouble with his wife, and all that isn't good enough for you? For the terrible crime of lying about a sexual affair?

Guess what. Everybody has told a lie. Bill told very few of them. Bush spills them all the time. Clinton should not be held to ridiculous standards that don't apply to anybody else.

56. lying under oath, obstruction of justice when you are POTUS
is not the same situation as everyone else, not for a lawyer, damn sure not for POTUS

not to mention all the members of his cabinet lying for him for months ... before he admitted it was true, he had no regard for them or their integrity, because he has no integrity.

then his book comes out and he admits all the other accusations were true, the women they had destroyed as trashy lying bimbos...they were all telling the truth, Bill and Hillary were the liars.

I for one hope their scorched earth politics burns them both, they have earned it and have no one to blame for it but themselves.
