Defeating the GOP for this cycle is incredibly important to me, and for all of us. In opposition to all these threads that complain about nose-holding, threaten to do no work outside of voting, or declare a haughty departure from the party, I'd like to say any of the candidates can count on me for the GE. I won't have my values represented fully in the Democratic nominee (whoever it is), but I can protect my values from further destruction by defeating the GOP candidate. And that's worth working for.

You're supposed to threaten to throw a HUGE fit, and stomp away from the Democratic Party in a snit, not to mention in a huff, and let's not forget the high dudgeon!

Aren't you?

2. agree completely
if any democrats don't vote in the GE they will deserve the republican nominee for president - however, I resent the fact that they may stick me with the Republicans for another 4 years with poor job security, a loss of S.S. and health care.

5. I'm not going to judge people who see it differently. Their vote and their time is their own

I would certainly try to argue the case for voting (and working) Democratic in '08, however. :D
